With
Dry Skin: |
|
When taking bridal pictures
or headshots, do not exfoliate your skin the day before. Your skin
will look reddish & blotchy. Give yourself at least 3 days to
allow your skin cells to regenerate and give a healthy glow to your
face. I love Origin's "Never A Dull Moment" Exfoliant with
honey & apricot seeds. |

When
Applying Concealer: |
|
Being as it's the most difficult
product to make seem "natural," always use a medium-heavy
weight eye cream under your concealer so the two mix together, hydrating
your undereye area completely. This way, you can cover it without
it drying & settling into those pesky fine lines. I adore Jo Malone's
Eye Cream with green tea & honey. |

If
You're Bored with Your Look: |
|
Someone may have
fed you the myth that your look is a "seasonal" one. Not
true! If the skin looks beautiful, almost any color in the world can
look good. If you're a Redhead, learn to explore with heather-greys
& lilacs on eyes (try Bobbi Brown's "Heather" eye shadow).
If Latina, look for Peach or Apricot tones on cheeks & ice blue
on the eyes (try Nars' "Exhibit A" Powder blush & Benefit's
"Snow Job" on the eyes). And if you're very fair-skinned,
find a ruby-hued cream blush (try "Wild Orchid" cream blush
from Becca). |
